Presentation from Mobile Advertising & Marketing Summit up
I had the pleasure of speaking at the IQPC 2nd Mobile Advertising & Marketing Summit in Singapore last week, which included some very insightful presentations from companies like Mindshare and MTV Asia. My own can be viewed below. One of the more surprising facts *not* directly related to mobile advertising that I learned is that under certain circumstances people will prefer airtime to food. Guntur Siboro from Indonesian carrier Indosat shared that due to rising food prices, the Indonesian government had recently taken to passing out food vouchers, which can be exchanged at the post office - turns out people take that money right to the corner shop and buy prepaid minutes to top up their phones rather than filling up the fridge.Posted by:Billich | Entry Date: June 4, 2008 6:04 PM
