November 29, 2007: Mobile TV Panel Discussion at Asia TV Forum, Singapore

From November 28-30, a melange of broadcasters, content creators, production companies and studios, distributors, investment companies and government bodies will gather at Singapore’s Shangri-La Hotel for the Asia TV Summit to discuss a wide range of topics such as partnership strategies, developments the device market such as HD and Digital TV, distribution models and, of course, Mobile TV. We have the pleasure of sharing our views on Mobile TV in Japan, arguably the second-most advanced market in digital mobile broadcasting after Korea, as part of the “View from the East - Japan & Korea” panel discussion starting at 4.30 pm on November 29. What I am looking forward just as much is hearing Tomi T. Ahonen’s morning keynote address on mobile as the 7th mass media channel, a topic which he an Alan Moore write extremely insightful things about on their blog.
