EarthPulse is a “Visual Guide to Global Trends” published by the venerable National Geographic. Making heavy use of maps and infographics, it aims to raise awareness about pressing global conservation issues by explaining major trends shaping our world today - such as ecoystems and conservation, food and water, energy and carbon, quality of life and technology. In the Technology chapter, EarthPulse looks at Japan’s growing mobile web use and provides some vivid facts from Japan’s USD 78 billion mobile market, which were quoted (> EarthPulse Sources) from our “Japan Mobile Internet Report”. Even though it’s just a few morsels of knowledge we have contributed to this I have to say we are proud to be recognized by a publication that has been around for 120 years. Add to that my own personal passion for travel, maps and quality journalism and what you get is a big smile on my face. The fact that the folks at National Geo picked Japan as the topic of focus on how digital and mobile technologies are changing the world once again drives home the point that if you want to understand where things are headed in mobile, you need to look at Japan. And if you need to look at Japan, that means …you need to talk to us! “Japan Mobile Internet Report - Carriers, Handsets, Content and Services” is available from the Infinita Online Store and our co-authors at Wireless Watch Japan. The print edition of EarthPulse will be published shortly.Posted by:Billich | Entry Date: 2008年1月23日 11:14
